It’s Time to Own Your S*** through Generosity and Forgiveness
Recently, we started a new Certification group and, this last week, we entered a crucial juncture where we go deep below the surface and explore our personal purposes–our own personal understanding of what each person brings to this world (a.k.a. Your Essence/Purpose/Why).
This is one of my favorite parts of our Program (and there are many!) and each time we do the exercise that helps us look deep within, I go deeper in myself and get more insights and clarity.
This brought me to more reflection:
Often during a Cancer Journey, when we’re in the pit, we realize a loss of our will to live or we question our life–that feeling that I don’t belong or have any value in this life anymore. This is when remembering and connecting to our Purpose is key. It is from our unique essence that we can tap into our Soul’s aliveness. Our Why–what we uniquely bring to the world and how the world would be less if we were not sharing and showing it–is what brings us alive.
I was reminded of the Howard Thurman quote:
“Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
This month of July, we are honoring CJI’s value of Generosity which to us means Generosity of our Soul and Spirit. Our Generosity comes from our heart(s). To truly give from here, we need to feel secure in who we are and what we bring.
Often the “gateway” to this part of us is covered by should’s, have to’s, and shame. To embrace our essence and soul’s aliveness, we need to move past these things and our recommended pathway is with the Power of Forgiveness.
We will be holding a workshop to share a magical formula to get to your Soul’s Generosity. We call it the “Forgiveness” Formula. Is your interest piqued? Join us on Friday, July 22 at 9am PT/12noon ET as our Certified Cancer Journey Coaches Melanie Dunlap and Shelyna Khalfan take you through this eye opening adventure. See below for more details.
You won’t want to miss this one!!
With love and generosity,
