Earth & Essence offers a sacred pause in your healing journey—a gentle invitation to walk through Filoli's breathtaking gardens while guided visualizations help quiet anxiety and reconnect you with your inner strength. As you wander among the blooms and pathways, you'll have space to reflect on your own experience with cancer, allowing nature's rhythm to guide your thoughts toward peace and clarity. The experience culminates in a shared picnic where stories, insights, and quiet observations are welcomed into the circle. Here, surrounded by others who understand the unique terrain of a cancer journey, you'll discover the profound comfort that comes from true community—where healing happens not in isolation, but in the gentle embrace of shared understanding and collective hope.

Where and when is the Earth & Essence event?

On Saturday, September 6, 2025, we are holding our Earth & Essence event at the Fioli Estate in Woodside, CA.

I cannot attend live, is there a virtual option?

At this time, this event is not offered virtually.

Will you hold the Earth & Essence event again?

It is possible we will hold this event at another location in the future, however it may not be local to the Bay Area.

I am not part of the Cancer Support Leaders, can I attend the meeting?

We're honored that you are interested! Unfortunately, this meeting is exclusive to our established Cancer Support Leaders partners. If you are a part of a cancer center, hospital, or organization and have not connected with us yet, email [email protected] for more information.

Once I'm registered, do I have to pay for entry into Fioli?

No! Registering with us also includes your ticket to enter the Fioli Estates.

Is parking available?

Yes! Fioli has free, on-site parking that comes with registration to this event.

I have dietary restrictions/allergies, will you have food that I can eat?

Yes! We'll provide food options that align with all types of diets, however you're welcome to bring a snack if you'd prefer. You are also welcome to email [email protected] to ensure that we are aware of any needs you may have ahead of time.

I'm attending the event! What do I need to prepare?

Yay! We're looking forward to meeting you in real life. We ask that you bring your web-enabled phone and a pair of headphones to listen to the guided visualizations along your exploration of Fioli's Garden. However, you may also want to bring sunglasses, a notebook, a pen, sunscreen, and bug repellent, though these are optional! We'll have snacks and other supplies you may need during our event.
