1. What is Cancer Journey Coaching?
Cancer Journey Coaching is coaching at its most powerful. Our Cancer Journey Coaches are highly trained, passionate individuals, who have traveled their own cancer journeys and now seek to transform the cancer experience for others. Cancer Journey Coaching embraces a “journey mindset” that allows clients to gain personal power and meaning from your cancer experience.
2. I’m interested in becoming a coach, how do I get started?
We’re thrilled to hear you’re interested in making a positive impact through coaching. We have three coaching training programs designed to meet you where you are in your journey. A Taste of Cancer Journey Coaching is a free workshop that does just as the title implies. We recommend this to anyone from coaching newbies to veterans. Our next stage program is The Fundamentals of Cancer Journey Coaching in which you’ll learn basic tools and skills to start flexing your coaching muscles over 12 weeks. Finally, we have our year-long Cancer Journey Coach Certification that guides you through our proprietary coaching method, supports you as you hone your own coaching style, and leads to your Certification as a full fledged Cancer Journey Coach!

3. What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?
Coaching and therapy can differ in many aspects, such as environment, approach, etc. In your search for the best option for your journey, we offer a complimentary Cancer Journey Coaching to experience a session for yourself!
4. Do you offer workshops?
At the Cancer Journey Institute, we interact with many different populations–cancer patients, coaches, organizations–and aim to provide workshops that benefit each.

5. Do you work with other organizations and institutions?
Yes! We’ve worked with many different foundations, cancer centers, and organizations to bring Cancer Journey Coaching to a bigger population. Our vision to share Cancer Journey Coaching can only be accomplished by working with the cancer oncology community and developing partnerships and programs to make this work accessible to all.

6. Where is the Cancer Journey Institute located?
The Cancer Journey Institute is based in California, USA, however we have trained and certified coaches around the world! Many of our programs are virtual, which allows us to connect with our passionate coaches from Italy, Singapore, Switzerland, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and more.
