The Fundamentals program is a “mini-series” of our Cancer Journey Coach Certification Training Program. The focus for this series is to provide an introduction to the foundational skills and tools of Cancer Journey Coaching. Whether you are considering a career in Cancer Journey Coaching,  interested in adding these skills and tools to your current professional toolkit, or you simply want to have more to offer those with Cancer in your life, the Fundamentals of Cancer Journey Coaching has something for you.  

The Fundamentals of Cancer Journey Coaching is an interactive live-video training program comprised of six training sessions over 12 weeks with built-in homework and practice.

Fundamentals of Cancer Journey Coaching will give you:

• An understanding of our proprietary technique model: S.L.A.M.S.;
• Immersion into our experience-based learning method;
• Demonstrations of our transformational coaching maps and tools — how they are applied, and why they are so powerful;
• Practice using the principle coaching skill that underlies every successful coaching interaction;
• A loving, community-oriented learning environment with like-hearted spirits.
• Continuing Education Units accredited by the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches (NBHWC).

Fundamentals is ideal for coaches, health care professionals, healing practitioners, hospice workers and those who feel called to support individuals with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. It is for you if you are:

• Looking to enhance your personal or professional ability to support those who are on or have been on a cancer journey or that of a life-threatening disease;
• Interested in the 8-month Certification Program and want more first-hand experience before you sign up (a portion of your tuition will apply toward the Certification Program);
• Already signed up for the Cancer Journey Coach Certification Training Program but want to begin NOW, and hit the ground running when you begin your program (special credits apply for this scenario);
• Passionate about becoming a Cancer Journey Coach but unable to commit to the 8-month training at this time.

2 Hour Meetings

• 7 – interactive live-video trainings conducted every other week with live demonstrations and participant practice. All training sessions are recorded.
• 1 – Master Coach Group Coaching Sessions
• 4 – buddy Sessions & Office Hours/Mentoring Sessions
• Slides to support the training sessions.
